Games People Play – II

I write this post with a smirk on my face. People who turn abusive or vitriolic for no reason at all amuse me, rather than irk me.

Let me quote one such example:

Your blog title is just right. It really matches you. You are INSANE if you think you can get away with all those fake accounts, comments and votes.
The Slideshare team has already been warned of your doing and you should see your account suspended in a few days. How does that sound to you? :)

That is a comment made on my last blog post by some really courageous person going by the name of ‘Anonymous’.

Well, Mr. or Ms. Anonymous, I think you’re just someone who wants to take my case. Go right ahead! Though, I’d probably take you much more seriously if you’d identify yourself.

Take care!

This thing called success... is so measurable I tell u... All u have to do is to gauge the amount of hate mails u get :)

The magnitude of contempt people show towards the successful is astonishing! Maybe it is more of a strong feeling to bring everyone back to the average.

Congrats on ur first hate comment, I would say! :D

@Aparna... as they say, no point wrestling with a pig in the mud. You get dirtier every minute, and the bloody pig actually enjoys it. :)

@Choco... I'm becoming more famous. Yee haa!!!

@Roshmi... that's such an awesome line, though calling me a great spirit is a little bit of a stretch. :P

@Corinne... advice taken, ma'am. Btw, EG has been a big influence in my mellowing down a bit. You should've seen what I'd have done to Anonymous a couple of years ego. *evil grin*

@Shailendra... I don't believe in Gandhi the man, but the philosophy of non-violence sure rocks!

@Jal pari... thanks to readers like you, I thoroughly love the hate comment. :P You should've been able to see the grin on my face.

@Anu... thanks! :)

@Saurabh... lol! I'm hoping to celebrate provided the last part of Shailendra's comment comes true. :)
