Stumbling Blocks!

I was thinking that there are so many people whose blogs I’ve simply stumbled upon through links, social networks, and god knows where all.

However, if I find a blog worth reading, I don’t currently have any way of promoting it except to advertise it on facebook/orkut/gtalk. Someone suggested using the site StumbleUpon, where if you like a site you can ‘’like’ it and if you don’t, you can choose to not like it.

I think that could be a great way of sharing the right kind of content with people. What say?

If you do have a StumbleUpon account, do add me at http://sumitrocks.stumbleupon.com/public/

If you don’t, get one before you’re considered as ancient as a dinosaur!

I AM an ancient dinosaur when it comes to blog networking!

@ Rane: Are u the same person who earlier blogged as "Pink Orchid"? That person seems to have disappeared off the blogging grid, along with her blog! :-/
Please ignore my foolishness if you aren't the one.

I have a personal facebook account butI don't promote my blog much there.

Accounts you want to promote your blog:

Stumble
Digg
Twitter

I'll hook up with you on stumble soon. What you really want on your blog is a little banner on the bottom of every post that says "tweet this/digg this..." etc... You know what I mean?

If you want to promote someone's blog, you can put it on your blogroll on your blog page. This way whoever will visit your page may check out that link, too(though it may not happen always).

Stumble n digg are good ways of promoting blogs.
